KIP International school at EXPO 2015

The Universal Exhibition (EXPO) or the World Fair is held every five years. Milan (Italy) is hosting EXPO 2015, while the next EXPO will be held in Dubai in 2020. The theme of EXPO 2015 is Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.

In this occasion, AIFO with its partner organisations in China, Mongolia and Guinea Bissau is organising three conferences under the broad title of Hunger, Hunger of Rights focusing on Sustainable food, An Equitable World, in the KIP Pavillion of EXPO 2015 in Milan.

All the three conferences will be held at KIP Pavillion in the EXPO grounds

Programme of the AIFO Conferences

  • China: On 7 July from 18 to 20 hours focusing on Safeguarding the Mental Health, to present the experience of an AIFO and EU project in Harbin (Heilongjiang province of China). The promoters of the conference are AIFO and CoperSaMM. Chinese and Italian simultaneous translation will be provided for this conference.
  • Mongolia: On 8 September from 14 to 16 hours focusing on Development is Cohesion and Liberty, to present the experience of the national Community-based Rehabilitation (CBR) programme in Mongolia. The promoters of this conference are AIFO, DPI Italy and CoperSaMM. Mongolian and Italian simultaneous translation will be provided for this conference.
  • Guinea Bissau: On 10 September from 16 to 18 hours on the theme of Mother Earth to present the experience of community approaches in Guinea Bissau against maternal mortality, child malnutrition and violence against women. This conference is promoted by AIFO. Portuguese and Italian simultaneous translation will be provided for this conference.
